01. fferrone
Felicia Ferrone began her journey in 2001 in Milan, where she prototyped the groundbreaking Revolution Collection that immediately caught the attention of the design press. After years working in Milan, she launched fferrone design in 2010 to realize her complete vision. Drawing from her architectural training and her role as Chair of Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Chicago, Ferrone has established herself as both a practicing designer and thought leader in the field, creating work that bridges the worlds of architecture, craft, and industrial design.
02. History
The fferrone collection spans glassware for every occasion—stemware, champagne flutes, whiskey glasses, decanters, vases, and candlesticks. Each piece is individually hand-shaped using flameworking techniques by master artisans in the Czech Republic, one of the world's most significant glassmaking towns. Working with thermal-resistant borosilicate glass, these complex methods require exceptional skill impossible through industrial production. The result is glassware that exists neither of the past nor present, but of an enduring future. Film directors have chosen fferrone pieces for franchises like Star Wars and John Wick, while world-renowned restaurants including The French Laundry and Per Se select them for exceptional dining experiences.
