Highlights from Milan Design Week ‘25
Welcome to the first entry in our journal. Appropriately, it shares highlights from the Salone del Mobile 2025 in Milan, the furniture fair that inspired our showroom's name. From standout installations to the most anticipated new launches, here are the products and presentations from our brands that left a lasting impression.
Arclinea - 100 Years of Extraordinary Kitchen Design
Photographs: Courtesy of Arclinea
This year Arclinea celebrates its 100th anniversary launching a series of cultural and artistic projects. For Design Week, Arclinea’s Milan showroom became part gallery, part kitchen stage — featuring an exhibition 100 Italian Ingredients, a series of carefully selected still-life images of ingredients that embody Italy’s rich gastronomic heritage by Amélie Ambroise.
“Arclinea's 100-year milestone is a profound reflection on legacy, seen not just as the heritage we've preserved but as the foundation for the next 100 years. This legacy embodies our ethical vision, where the culture of design and food plays a pivotal role.”
The exhibition also included an exclusive iteration of the Convivium kitchen island in high-gloss mirrored steel — designed specifically for this event, the Convivium island was free of appliances and incorporates the new Proxima model plinth solution. This design aims to highlight the kitchen as a space for connection and interaction within an artistic dimension. The choice of mirrored steel is intentional: reflecting light and its surroundings, and establishing a visual and sensory connection between food, kitchen, and people.
Flexform - “Interior Landscapes” Installation at the Chiostro Sant’Angelo

Among our favorite installations during Design Week — Flexform’s Interior Landscapes, set in the cloister of the Sant’Angelo monastery in Milan.
Usually closed to the public, the historic site opened its space to Flexform for the introduction of its new outdoor collection. Against a backdrop of refined, well-balanced architecture, the epitome of Giovanni Muzio’s signature style, Flexform created a Mediterranean garden that revealed its latest pieces — the new Camelot Outdoor sofa, the Oasis and Calipso families of seating elements, and the Torcello Outdoor table — to name just some of the products in the new collection.
Edra - New Gems, Glossy Matt and Every Stone Collections
Photographs: Pietro Savorelli
This year, Edra unveiled three innovative fabric collections — Gems, Glossy Matt, and Every Stone — each inspired by natural elements and designed to enhance the brand's sculptural sofas. The Gems collection features nine jewel-toned fabrics with shimmering yarns that mimic precious stones like Carnelian and Malachite. Glossy Matt combines soft chenille with pure wool bouclé, creating a dynamic interplay of matte and glossy textures in a palette ranging from delicate neutrals to deep reds and greens. Every Stone, intended for both indoor and outdoor use, offers a marble-inspired texture in nine variants, including Carrara Statuary White and Imperial Red.
New fabrics were showcased at Edra's historic Palazzo Durini showroom, where the new materials complemented the brand's iconic sofa models such as Standard, Standalto, and On the Rocks. The exhibition extended beyond the showroom to the courtyard, featuring outdoor versions of the sofas adorned with the Every Stone fabrics, highlighting Edra's commitment to blending artistic design with functional versatility.
Rimadesio - Modernity Flow
Photographs: Federico Cedrone
At Milan Design Week 2025, Rimadesio presented Modernity Flow — a new collection of tables, chairs, and armchairs by Giuseppe Bavuso. Defined by sculptural lines and rich materials like leather, rope, wood, and the new Terrae finish, each piece captures Rimadesio’s vision of subtle innovation and perfect balance.
Among the standout pieces is the Lambda table, featuring fluid lines and available in luxurious materials like Verde Lepanto marble. The Sinua chair, offered in both dining and lounge versions, showcases a sleek design with options for various finishes and materials, including a magnetic back cushion for added comfort. The Wabi chair and Nest swivel armchair further exemplify Rimadesio's commitment to both simplicity and sophistication.
In addition to furniture, Rimadesio introduced the Hedon walk-in closet system, a modular solution designed to adapt elegantly to both residential and hospitality settings, and the Air Syncro — new versions for the Air door system, completed with the innovative Syncro version, equipped with a mechanism with synchronised movement of all the panels.
Living Divani - 30 Years of Frog Chair
Photographs: Andrea Butti
Design Week this year marked another milestone: the 30th anniversary of Frog — an iconic chair created by Piero Lissoni, the visionary creative director of Living Divani. First introduced in 1995, Frog was not a guaranteed success. “When we first looked at it, it seemed too low, too wide — the proportions were a little wrong,” Lissoni recalls.
“When we first saw her thirty years ago, we told Piero we wouldn’t sell a single one,” the people at Living Divani recalled about their first encounter with Frog.
“Sell?” she must have thought. “Oh, I’ll do better than just sell! I’ll have a long life, travel the world, and since I bear the name of an animal that has made an art of transformation, I’ll change outfits, experiment with materials, be adventurous with colors, and become the very icon of those slightly off-kilter proportions that Piero Lissoni mentions whenever people ask him about me,” writes Giovanna Zoboli.
Three decades later, Frog — now Living Divani’s bestseller — proves that Lissoni’s idea turned out to be just right. “The Frog’s design is both iconic and adaptable,” says Carola Bestetti, CEO of Living Divani. “It remains one of our bestsellers year after year.”
Bocci - 20th Years of Bocci
Photographs: Paola Pansini, Ekaterina Izmestieva
This year marks Bocci’s 20th anniversary — since 2005, the company has pushed the boundaries of design, experimenting with glass, metal, concrete, electricity and fire. On the occasion of their 20th year, Bocci launched the 141, a new pendant light under the creative direction of Omer Arbel, which will be featured in our showroom.
The 141 series is crafted by pouring two ladlefuls of hot glass freehand over a curved rod to create two overlapping puddles. The rod is then lifted, and the puddles wing out into an unpredictable shape in a gesture that is both simple and cinematic at once. After this process, the rod is replaced with an LED light source. The 141 is meant to be hung as a single element or in clusters, with the irregular shapes conversing with one another.
RODA - New Missoni Collection
Photographs: Omar Sartor
At the Salone del Mobile 2025, RODA presented STRESA, a contemporary reinterpretation of classic metal garden seating, characterized by a refined balance between tradition and modernity. Made of painted aluminum, the collection includes various outdoor furniture elements for a complete and coordinated proposal.
ASPIC, the new dining table designed by Gordon Guillaumier, is an evolution of the collection of coffee tables, enhancing its sculptural character and elegant finish with exposed aggregate. The three new nuances — Orange, Green, and Mole — are inspired by natural tones and strengthen the connection with the outdoor context.
RODA also presented new features for the RODA|MISSONI collection with new variants that emphasize the aesthetic identity of the iconic RODA collections ORSON and LAWRENCE. The synthesis of style born from the collaboration between the two companies continues with new proposals to dress the RODA collections with Missoni patterns.
